The Gruppo di Azione Locale Valle Umbra e Sibillini G.A.L. aims to promote rural development in line with the guidelines of the European Commission regarding community initiatives on rural development (Leader II, Leader+) and other European policies, while also responding to the needs expressed by economic, social, and cultural stakeholders operating in rural areas.
The association contributes to the design and implementation of actions that foster sustainable development in rural territories, respecting cultural and social identities as well as the environment, and actively participates in national and European programmes pursuing the same objectives.

LAG “Aizkraukle District Partnership” is a local action group that promotes sustainable rural development and strengthens community-led initiatives in the Aizkraukle region. The partnership brings together municipalities, entrepreneurs, NGOs, and local residents to support innovative ideas, cooperation projects, and initiatives that improve the quality of life in rural areas.
Through the LEADER approach and international cooperation projects, the organisation encourages local entrepreneurship, social innovation, renewable energy solutions, tourism development, and community resilience. We are also active partners in various international cooperation projects focused on tourism, circular economy, and sustainable regional development.

Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia
Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia has been leading, coordinating, and connecting regional development initiatives since 2000, working closely with local, regional, national, and European partners to improve the quality of life in the Heart of Slovenia area. With a strong international network, the organisation develops and implements projects in the fields of entrepreneurship, tourism, education, rural development, sustainability, and community engagement.
The organisation works closely with local stakeholders through thematic networks of municipalities, schools, tourism providers, farmers, craftsmen and entrepreneurs, strengthening local competences, cooperation and self-organisation capacities. As the lead partner of LAG Heart of Slovenia, the Development Centre also plays an important role in implementing EU-funded rural development initiatives. LAG Heart of Slovenia is recognised as one of the most successful and visible Local Action Groups in Slovenia, known for its strong partnership approach, active international cooperation and innovative community-led development projects.
